As a rule, school fund-raising is no fun. But Zeke Meeks is determined to become the best fund-raiser around. After all, the student who sells the most cake mixes will win four tickets to Thrillsville amusement park. There's just one problem. Zeke is a terrible salesperson. Maybe his great grandma can teach him a thing or two about selling.

As if coming up with a school project at the last minute is not enough trouble, Zeke also has to deal with his cousin Sam--who is just too perfect to be completely believable.

Zeke wants to bring home the class hamster, so to prove that he is responsible he promises his mother that he will take care of the family dog for a whole week--after that it is one disaster after another.

It is Television-Turnoff Week, and Zeke and his friends are wondering what they will do with their time without their favorite programs and videogames.

Third-grader Zeke Meeks already has two sisters, so he is bitterly disappointed when his new neighbor proves to be a girl--can Charlie change his mind and prove to him that boys and girls can play together?

Zeke's class is having a talent show, and Brassy Glass, from America's Next Superstar, will be coming to the show as the judge--but Zeke cannot figure out what talent he actually has and, as usual, his sisters are no help at all.

Nine-year-old Tori is thrilled to be spending the summer at her grandmother's ranch, even if she has to share a room with her younger sister Miranda, who is eight--there is a beautiful, but very nervous, new pony called Jewel that she would love to ride, but her grandmother feels that this pony is just too much for a child.
